Personal Interests:
I love to be outdoors and have adventures/trips out in
nature. I usually go trail riding with my horse or hike with
my dog on the weekends. I enjoy creating my own artwork and

I live with my husband, Mike and my son, Sean near Waxhaw. Sean is currently in college at UNC-CH. We have one dog named Oreo and a horse named Bravo.

I love to lift weights. My husband and I both
compete in physique competitions. I feel that being a picture
of fitness is inspiring to my students, and encourages them to
pursue their own health/fitness goals with more rigor.
I love the beach, and enjoy relaxing vacations/weekend get-aways
with my family. We love to be active, whether playing at the
park, tossing a ball, or playing our Wii Fit! When I need
"me" time, I enjoy reading fitness/nutrition related
books/magazines. They give me great ideas that I can
incorporate into my teaching.
Family is very important to me, so any free time that allows us to
enjoy one another is excellent!
