About the PFI
PFI Overview
The mission of The Socrates Academy Parent-Faculty Involvement Association has been established to promote excellence in the education of our children by:
1. supporting the mission of Socrates Academy;
2. fostering open communication between parents, faculty, and administration;
3. working to enrich
and improve academic and social programs and services at
Socrates Academy;
4. serving as an advocate for our school and our children;
5. encouraging and
coordinating parent involvement in appropriate aspects
of Socrates Academy; and
6. providing financial support to Socrates Academy through fund-raising activities.
The Socrates Academy Parent-Faculty Involvement Association is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding Section of any future Federal Tax Code (hereinafter "Internal Revenue Code").
