A Message from Our Athletic Director

MindaHeadshot.jpg

Athletics is an integral part of life at Socrates Academy. We believe the athletic program is an important element in the overall development and growth of our student-athletes. Socrates Academy emphasizes the importance that interscholastic team sports plays in the lives of our students. Through athletics, we learn critical life lessons and skills such as discipline, cooperation, teamwork, dedication, and proper work ethics. We strive to provide a strong program for our student-athletes to maximize their  abilities in a competitive setting while preparing them to play at the next level.

Socrates Academy currently competes in the Queen City Conference (QCC). The teams in the QCC consist of Carmel Christian, Grace Covenant, Trinity Episcopal, Union Prep, and Charlotte Prep. We also schedule schools in the Charlotte Area in non-conference matches/games. Socrates Academy currently offers Cross-Country, Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Cheerleading, Track, and Girls Soccer, Co-ed Golf, and Girls Tennis. For our High School athletes, we currently offer Boys Basketball and Girls Volleyball.

Support is a core component of Socrates Academy’s athletic tradition. At Socrates Academy, parental support is an integral component and a necessary part of our athletic success. We strongly encourage our parents to join the Owl Club.

Please let me know if you have any questions about our Athletic Program at Socrates Academy.

Thank you for your support of Socrates Academy Owls Athletics!

Go Owls!
