BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL

​In conjunction with the school wide mission statement, it is our objective to provide a safe, exciting, intriguing and challenging program that extends beyond the regular school day. We want every scholar to be more confident and enriched because of the extended time they spend at Socrates.

BEFORE SCHOOL HOURS

Elementary: 7:15 a.m. - 8:05 a.m.

Middle School: 7:15 a.m. - 7:50 a.m.

AFTER SCHOOL HOURS

Elementary:     3:45 p.m. -  6:00 p.m.

Middle School: 3:10 p.m. -  6:00 p.m.

Due to the school day staggered end time, families who have a Middle School Scholar and an Elementary Scholar may pay a reduced rate of $80 per month for Middle School Scholars who are waiting from 3:10pm - 3:45pm for sibling Elementary School dismissal.

 

  • Paid for monthly in advance

  • General After Hours schedule/agenda will be determined by the program director

  • All Before and After Hours employees will have background checks and be employed by the school

  • PARENTS MUST WALK CHILDREN INTO THE BUILDING in the morning. It is unsafe to drop your child off outside without ensuring an adult is in the building.

 

Registration Fee

$25.00 Non refundable registration fee per child. All Late payments will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.

After School Monthly Fees MUST be received in full before or on the first of each month

  • 5 Days per week: $240.00 per month

  • 3 Days per week: $144.00 per month

  • $144 per month is the minimum payment. Scholars may utilize Afterschool or 1 or 2 days per week, but are expected to pay the minimum fee of $144 monthly.

  • 10% Discount for Sibling if enrolled in Before or After School

  • All payments received after the 5th of each month will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.

Late Payments

Please note that three late pick-ups will be considered habitual and a meeting will be requested for possible expulsion from the program.

  • Payments will be considered late after the 5th of the month

  • Students with 2 past due months will not be allowed to attend

  • Late Pick-Ups will be charged $1.00 per minute due @ time of pick up

    • Late pick-ups will be charged $1.00 per minute and be paid directly to the counselor in cash as compensation for overtime. Please note that five late pick-ups will be considered habitual and a meeting will be requested for possible expulsion from the program

 

Sick Days

Full tuition is due regardless of the number of days attended by the student. (Example: If you are enrolled for 5 days and only attend 3 days, you cannot pay the 3 day tuition for the month.

 

Extra Curricular Enrichment

Information on the activities will be provided as the programs become available. Costs and payments will be handled through the Coordinators.

 

Behavior Policy

Socrates Academy reserves the right to release, without refund, any scholar whose behavior becomes unmanageable, as defined by the Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Code of Conduct and Discipline Policy.
